The Quarter Pounder is a hamburger product sold by international fast food chain McDonald's, so named for containing a patty with a precooked weight of a quarter of a pound (113.4 g). It was first introduced in 1972. In 2013, the Quarter Pounder was expanded to represent a whole line of hamburgers that replaced the company's discontinued Angus Third Pounder hamburger.

I usually go for the Double Quarter Pounder (no cheese) with added jalapenos for 30 cents. It's a good burger overall though I thought they had put the wrong patty sometimes but now I think they actually are a little bigger. With the slightly larger size (7 grams larger) sometimes it still seems a bit sloppy presented compared to the original size.

These burgers are solid and an old standby for me. You really  can't go wrong with the Quarter Pounder. I do wish they'd bring back the "Bacon Habanero Ranch" Quarter pounder but sadly that did not last very long.

It seems to combat their flat sales, McDonald's has cut down on their products overall and most of the more complex Quarter Pounders they added in 2013 have since been removed.

Honestly I enjoy these burgers. It'd be better if they were a little more consistent. I've had times where one of my two patties was a bit overcooked and a couple times when they used the crappy onions they used on the kids burgers rather than the actual onion slices that are supposed to go on Quarter Pounders.

Attached is a review of the (now-removed) Bacon Habanero Ranch Quarter Pounder!

Eric Haedric Bacon Habanero Ranch Quarter Pounder is not the same as a Quarter Pounder.

Jesse "Burgerm'n" Radin @Eric Haedric All the "Quarter Pounder" burgers are/were a "line" of burgers since the removal of Angus.

Choke City I don't know man, it's really weird watching you chew on those few french fries.

Conspiro Atlantio Dude you look better without glasses.
